My Computer will not run Recfusion

Seems that My PC:

  • CPU: Intel Gemini Lake Celeron J4125 Quad-Core
  • Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 600
  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (64-bit)
  • Memory: 8GB LPDDR4
  • Storage: 128GB eMMC Built-in
Is not able to run Recfusion, so which computers will? Seems to be OpenCL related.
I am running Intel D455 scanner on it ok??

If we are talking about the RecFusion (PRO) application, then your PC should be able to at least open the application window! When comes to the reconstruction, I think it should be also possible if only the sufficient OpenCL profile is supported by this embedded GPU (at least for the offline/from sequence reconstruction?).

We have encountered, recently, a problem when not even an application window would opened on Windows! In the Windows’ Event Viewer, the error was related to the Universal C Runtime (CRT) ucrtbase.dll. Hence, we hypothesized it is somehow related to the C/C++ runtime (probably not directly as ucrtbase.dll comes from the Windows SDK if I am not mistaken). The solution was indeed to install MSVC redistributable packages (C++ runtime; 2015-2022 and 2013):
