Hello, I saw in this post that hardware syncing of L515s allows you to get around the problem of interference. I just want to make sure I can hardware sync using the Intel RealSense’s SDK, and this will be sufficient to have the cameras operate simultaneously in RecFusion with the pro license (i.e. without the RecFusion SDK). The feature of synchronization is not available in RecFusion Pro. And most probably it will not be added because the sensor production has been discontinued.
I setup a hardware sync’ing experiment with these sensors a couple of years ago. I used an Arduino controller to trigger them in an appropriate sequence so that their lasers did not interfere with each other. What I found is that the ramp up time on each trigger was too slow to achieve the frame-rates that we were after.
