Automatic Geometry Preset Switch

Hi,

I’m trying to use the “automatic preset switch based on the current UI visualized on screen” feature of the Process Ultrasound Stream.

I created different presets but cannot find to configure which preset is used depending on what’s displayed on screen.
Do you have documentation for this ?

(I’m using ImFusion 3.11.21)

Cheers
Florent

A little update here: I now upgraded to ImFusion Suite 3.12.16.

Hi Florent!

After choosing the template file in Process Ultrasound Stream>Ultrasound Geometry Definition>Presets>Load Templates, and checking Change automatically, the presets should be applied accordingly. If, e.g., your presets include different depth settings, then it will be reflected in the ruler next to your ultrasound image. To enable that, check Ultrasound Geometry Definition>Processing>Depth, and you should be able to see its values change, as the presets switch, as well as see the ruler changing too.

Note, the automatic changing of presets is an experimental feature, so it might be unstable!

You can find more documentation for the presets here: Frame Grabbing of Ultrasound Images — ImFusion Suite documentation

Let us know if it helps!

Best,
Sasha

Hi Sasha,

That’s what I tried to use, yes.

What I didn’t get was to how to build the template,
but I now found the “Ultrasound → Advanced → Frame Grabbing” algorithm that generates an IMF file,
and this IMF file is the “template” I need to load in Process Ultrasound Stream, is that correct ?

Cheers
Florent

Exactly! That is where you create the template with your presets. The name can be anything, though
