X ray CT registration confusion

Hi, I’m wondering if you can provide any guidance:
I first generate Cone Beam projections using two of my X-ray shots and register them to my CT scan. I’m a little confused how to get the transform ideally with respect from the CT to the coordinate space of my first X-ray. I can see a transform when I click Edit X-ray geometry, but this is with respect to the isocentre of the Conebeam system, not my X-Ray, and I also see some transforms under the transformation_stash property of my CT (not sure why, I thought we are registering from X-ray to CT though?).
grateful for any help!

Hi,

the transformation you see under the Edit X-Ray Geometry is indeed the iso-center transformation of your X-ray shots under the world coordinate, which is also the matrix that gets optimized during the 2D-3D registration. If you only care about the relative transformation between the X-ray shots and the CT, we recommend to note down this transformation matrix before and after the registration (there’s a button in the same panel that allows copying), and compute the relative transformation afterwards.

Best,
