I have a two step labeling process. In step #1 pre-labels are created by a resource. In step #2 the pre-labels are reviewed, edited (if necessary) and approved by a more senior resource. The workflow is achieved using tags. Unfortunately, I have 3 cases where the step #2 approval happened, and then after the step #2 approval, a step #1 resource changed the segmentations. I am hoping to revert the labels to a known moment in time. Is this possible?

Unfortunately, the local projects only store the latest version of the labelmaps. The process can only be reverted if it happened in the current session meaning the application has not been closed from the point in time you need to revert to - for this one can use the Undo action/functionality. But I assume this is not the case for you.
It can be beneficial to use an external backup e.g. a git repository over the label maps. It is so far not included in the application itself automatically.
