Filters preprocessing US registration

Hi,

Could you please specify which filtering is applied during Ultrasound Registration (3D to CT) when selecting manual or automatic preprocessing in the advanced registration settings of ImFusion Suite 3.1.0?

Hi Jellis,
Changing that setting for Ultrasound Registration has no effect, therefore we removed it from newer versions of the ImFusion Suite.
The 3D ultrasound registration does very little preprocessing.
The ultrasound sweep gets compounded into a volume and the CT volume gets resampled to the specified spacing.

Thanks for the information! So the spacing option that can be adjusted is applied to the CT volume and not to the ultrasound reconstructed volume?

It is applied to both the ultrasound and the CT. But for the CT it is a resampling operation (since the CT is already a volume) and for the ultrasound it is the spacing used during compounding (if the ultrasound is a tracked 2D sequence) or a resampling operations (if the ultrasound is a 3D volume)
